AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IV, SECTION 22A.402 WATER RATES
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 22A.402 Water Rates of Article IV of Chapter
22A of the Municipal Code of1�the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
22A.402 Water Rates:
All property upon which any building has been built or
may hereafter be erected within the corporate limits of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, except municipal buildings owned by
the Village of Elk Grove Village, having a connection with any
mains or pipes, which are or hereafter may be constructed and used
in connection with the Village water system, shall pay a basic
user rate as follows:
May 1, 1992 $2.10 per 1,000 gallons of water consumed.
May 1, 1993 $2.31 per 1,000 gallons of water consumed.
May 1, 1994 $2.47 per 1,000 gallons of water consumed.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
commencing with the Village's water and sewer billing after May 1, 1992
which date is subsequent to its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
