HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2226 - 4/14/1992 - SPECIAL USE/1630 GIBSONNO. 2226 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT AND A VARIATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO HEIGHT LIMITATIONS TO PERMIT THE INSTALLATION OF AN OUTDOOR WARNING SIREN AT 1630 GIBSON DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Plan Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a public meeting duly called and held according to law jointly considered the granting of a Special Use Permit and a variation to install an outdoor warning siren, fifty (50') feet in height, at the JAWA Receiving Station located at 1630 Gibson Drive and legally described herein- after; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having reviewed the findings and recommendations of said Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe it is in the best interest of the Village to grant said Special Use Permit together with the height variation. NOW, THEREFORE be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit and a variation of Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow the installation of an outdoor warning siren fifty (50') feet in height at property located at 1630 Gibson Drive, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Parcel No. 0305 TE - That Grove Subdivision Section Section 25, Township 41 N Third Principal Meridian, Commencing at a point on 9000, said point being 51 along the Easterly line o east corner of said Lot 9 along a line parallel wit Lot 9000, thence North 50 pendicular to the last de line of said Lot 9000, th the North line of said Lo feet along a said Lot 9000 perpendicular terly line of Easterly line ginning, all 0.039 Acres. part of Lot 9000 of Winston 23A in the Southwest ; of Drth, Range 10, East of the described as follows: :he Easterly line of said Lot .33 feet South (as measured E said Lot 9000) of the North - )00, thence West 61.61 feet 1 the North line of said .00 feet, along a line per - scribed line, to the North =_nce West 15.00 feet along t 9000, thence South 65.00 line perpendicular to the North line of (thence East 80.00 feet, along a line to the last described line, to the Eas- said Lot 9000), thence North, along the of said Lot 9000, to the point of be - in Cook County, Illinois, containing Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
