AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT AND A VARIATION
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO HEIGHT LIMITATIONS
TO PERMIT THE INSTALLATION OF AN OUTDOOR WARNING SIREN
AT 1630 GIBSON DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law jointly considered the granting
of a Special Use Permit and a variation to install an outdoor
warning siren, fifty (50') feet in height, at the JAWA Receiving
Station located at 1630 Gibson Drive and legally described herein-
after; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having
reviewed the findings and recommendations of said Plan Commission
and Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe it is in the best
interest of the Village to grant said Special Use Permit together
with the height variation.
NOW, THEREFORE be it ordained by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit and
a variation of Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow the
installation of an outdoor warning siren fifty (50') feet in height
at property located at 1630 Gibson Drive, Elk Grove Village and
legally described as follows:
