Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 9, 2021, this Executive Session was called
to consider review of Land Acquisition.

The Village Attorney provided an update on the condemnation/negotiations for the out lot
adjacent to the former Elk Grove Hotel. The Village made an offer of $1.3 million some time
ago, but we have not received a counter-offer. The property owner's attorney indicated they
would seriously consider an offer before spending the money on depositions, etc, to continue the
lawsuit. The Village Attorney indicated he would have another update on the status in two
weeks.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:46 pm.
