Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 23, 2021, this Executive Session was
called to consider review of Personnel.

Village Manager Rummel explained that there was difficulty finding comparable positions to use
for the EGTV staff salary survey. Many communities have outsourced their video/media
services, and those that still have cable television staff use mostly part-time employees, or
employees who have only partial cable responsibilities. Village Manager Rummel asked if there
was a specific reason for the questions from the Board, which might help in gathering the
information to address them. He explained that Cable television is historically not a very high
paid field, and there are no known complaints from EGTV staff.
The consensus of the Board was to keep the salary ranges for EGTV staff as proposed in the
FY2022 budget.
