Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 13, 2021, this Executive Session was called
to consider review of Litigation.

The Village Attorney provided an update on the settlement agreement with Mario Gullo. Gullo
had his attorneys file a motion indicating the Village needs to be responsive to the terms of the
settlement agreement. The Village has been responsive, but per the agreement, the MWRD is
required to take the first action and it is not the Village's responsibility to make the MWRD act.
The dis-annexation was placed on the MWRD's Board Meeting agenda for consideration, but
was removed after some contentious communications from Gullo's attorney Burt Odelson
calling the original annexation a sham and directing how the MWRD should handle land
annexations in the future.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:35 pm.
