Trustee Lissner moved to enter into executive session, seconded by Trustee Czarnik. The motion
was approved unanimously.

Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on May 11, 2021, this Executive Session was called to consider
review of Personnel.

The Board discussed Police Department personnel changes, including numerous pending
retirements. Commander Jensen is retiring in June and will be replaced by Sgt. Mike Carlson.
Sergeant Bazukas is retiring on May 28 and will be replaced by Officer Josh Swoboda. Sergeant
FioRito is retiring and will be replaced by Officer Mike Molloy. Joe Sacomano is retiring on
May 28. Veronica Rohman is leaving mid -June. The Police Department is down 10 police
officers, but has secured two spots for new officers in the June Police Academy.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 pm.
