KNICKERBOCKER Village Attorney Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on May 11, 2021, this Executive Session was called to consider review of Land Acquisition. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: February 2023 Date of approval for release: Date approved by Village Board: June 15, 2021 May 11, 2021 5:46 pm The Village has signed a contract to purchase the Days Inn at 1920 E. Higgins for a price of $4.25 million. The closing will be in mid -July, with the requirement that the Days Inn remove all occupants prior to closing. Mayor Johnson explained that he talked with Bhavik Dani and Pete Patel about an issue with Dani having previously signed a purchase agreement for the same property, and that this is not expected to cause any further issues. The meeting was adjourned at 5:46 pm.
