Trustee Lissner moved to enter into executive session, seconded by Trustee Franke. The motion
was approved unanimously.

Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on June 15, 2021, this Executive Session was called to consider
review of Personnel.

Deputy Chief Mike Gaspari and Commander Andy Jensen are retiring on June 25, 2021. Officer
George Moujouros is retiring on July 6, 2021. The Committee discussed the likely candidate for
the Deputy Chief position.
The Police Department has two slots in the July 1, 2021 Police Academy and five slots in the
Labor Day Police Academy. The Police Union has agreed to the $10,000 signing bonus for
lateral transfers with less than five years of experience. This bonus is intended to help get
officers on the street who have already completed the Academy and address the staffing shortage
in the Police Department.
The Board discussed that the proposal for mandatory vaccinations in the Police Department has
been dropped due to resistance from the Police Union.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:18 pm.
