AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IX (FIRE LANES), SECTION 23.903
LANE DESIGNATIONS, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE BY ADDING DESIGNATED FIRE LANES FOR LIBERTY BUSINESS
PARK (2525 BUSSE ROAD)
WHEREAS, Gerald Helinski, Property Manager of Liberty Properties,
2525 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois has requested of the
Village in writing, that certain areas within their property be designated
as fire lanes. A copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein
as Exhibit "A" of this Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 23.903, Lane Designations, of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
FF. Liberty Business Park, 2525 Busse Road:
All areas designated as fire lanes on a map entitled,
"Liberty Business Park, Elk Grove Village", which map
is hereby incorporated by reference as a part of Ordinance
No. 2236
Section 2: That owner or owners of the property where the above
signs are to be located are hereby directed to install and maintain said
signs subject to the approval of the Chief of the Fire Department of the
Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 3: Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and no more than five hundred dollars
($500.00) for each offense.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in Pamphlet Form.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according to law.
