AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6-4-5-3 OF THE VILLAGE CODE BY
PROVIDING FOR PARKING BY PERMIT IN RESTRICTED LOCATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-4-5-3 of the Village Code be
and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a new subparagraph
B., which subparagraph shall read as follows:
B. Restricted Parking/Parking by Permit: It shall be
unlawful for any person to permit any vehicle to stand or
park in any of the following restricted areas during the
time period stated, unless said vehicle displays a valid
residential parking permit for said location issued by
the Village.
1. In the following locations abutting Fountain Square
Park during the months of June, July, and August
from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.:
a) on the North and West sides of Atlantic Lane
between Potomac Lane and Hampshire; on the
East side of Atlantic Lane from 455 Atlantic
to Hampshire;
b) on the East side of Biesterfield Road between
Rutgers and Gibson Drive;
C) on the South side of Gibson Drive between
Biesterfield Road and Franklin; on the North
side of Gibson Drive between 1760 Gibson and
Potomac and 1698 Gibson to Hampshire;
d) on the West side of Potomac Lane between
Gibson and Hampshire; on the East side of
Potomac Lane between Atlantic Lane and
Hampshire.
Section 2: That the paragraph entitled No Parking Streets and
Areas of Section 6-4-5-3 of the Village Code shall be designated
subparagraph A.
Section 3: That any person violating any of the provisions of
this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Twenty -
Five ($25.00) Dollars or more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
