AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 4A.203, THE CLASSIFICATION
PLAN, OF CHAPTER 4A, POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN,
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a Home Rule Municipality
as authorized and set forth in the Constitution of the State of Illinois
and as such, authorized to enact certain legislation pertaining to its
local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
in exercise of its Home Rule authority as follows:
Section 1: That the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Article 4A.203, The Classification Plan, of Chapter 4A,
Position Classification and Salary Plan, be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following:
AUTHORIZED POSITIONS
PERMANENT TEMPORARY TOTAL
DEPT. APRIL 29. 1991 ADD JUNE 24. 1991
Sergeant 15 1* 16*
*Denotes temporary supervisory position which will lapse upon the return to
work of Sergeant Ken Krzywicki or at such time that it is determined that
he will not return to work and a permanent replacement is sought in
accordance with the established Fire and Police Commission procedures.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
