AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, SECTIONS 14.204, ONE-WAY
AND TWO-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS; 14.311, NO LEFT TURNS, OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.204, One-way and Two -Way Stop
Intersections, of the Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended by
adding thereto the following:
A. B.
STOP STREETS LOCATION
WEST EXIT OF ELK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL AT ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD
Section 2: That Section 14.311, No Left Turn, of the Municipal Code
be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
H. No operator of a motor vehicle shall
make a left hand turn from the Elk
Grove High School West exit onto
Arlington Heights Road.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Twenty -Five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars
for each offense.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
