AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 840 EAST HIGGINS ROAD,
ELK GROVE VILLAGE FROM B-1 BUSINESS TO B-2 BUSINESS
(NORTHGROVE SHOPPING CENTER/YOUNG)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to
law considered the question of rezoning property located at 840
East Higgins Road from B-1 Business to B-2 Business; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
and finding of said Plan Commission find and believe that the
granting of the rezoning as regzested is in the best interest
of the Village.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: The Village does hereby rezone from B-1 Business
to B-2 Business the Northgrove Shopping Center, located at 840
East Higgins Road, Elk Grove Vil'age and legally described as
follows:
Lot 13 in Higgins Road Commercial Subdivision Unit
Number 1, being a Subdivision on the West Half of
the Southwest quarter of Section 22, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meri-
dian in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
amend the Zoning Ordinance of the Village to reflect the rezoning
as herein granted.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
