AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.512, ADDITIONAL NO PARKING
STREETS AND AREAS, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE EAST SIDE
OF RIDGE AVENUE SOUTH OF ELK GROVE BLVD. TO RIDGE COURT
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.512, Additional No Parking Streets and
Areas, of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and
the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
107. On the east side of Ridge Avenue, south
of Elk Grove Boulevard to Ridge Court.
Section 2: That any person, firm or corporation who violates any of
the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less
than Ten ($10.00) Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for
each offense.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in Pamphlet Form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall he in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.

SUBJECT: Regulatory Signage
The Hattendorf Center has a park which is used for youth programs and is
widely used by neighborhood children. We must remain consistent and
Prohibit parking around the area of this park as well. The ultimate
purpose is to provide pedestrian safety for those persons.
I recommend the following amendment to Article V, "Parking Rules:"
