HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2145 - 1/22/1991 - ZONING VARIATION/1820 LUNTNO. 2145 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE TO TRAVELERS INSURANCE COMPANY TO PERMIT THE EXISTENCE OF A BUILDING WHICH INFRINGES 1.98 FEET INTO THE REQUIRED SIDEYARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1820 LUNT AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to required sideyards in Industrial Zoned Districts in order to permit the existence of a building which encroaches 1.98 feet into the required sideyard; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village, after reviewing the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation. NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to required sideyards in Industrial Zoned Districts to permit the existence of a building which encroaches 1.98 feet into the required ten (10') foot side - yard setback on property located at 1820 Lunt Avenue and legally described as follows: PARCEL 1: The East 100 feet of the West 504 feet of Lot 18 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 4, being a Sub- division of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat of said Centex Industrial Park Unit 4, registered in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois, on November 2, 1959, as Document Number 1894159. PARCEL 2: The East 51 feet of the West 555 feet of Lot 18 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 4, being a Sub- division of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat of said Centex Industrial Park Unit 4, registered in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois, on November 2, 1959, as Document Number 1894159. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 APPROVED: Charles J.
