AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54A OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE TO PERMIT A ROOM ADDITION ON
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1203 TIMBER DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (ROMANO)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law considered the question of granting
a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance and Section
5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to structures in a re-
quired side yard area for property located at 1203 Timber Drive,
Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the recommendation and
finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe sufficient
hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of'Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation to Joseph and
Roberta Romano of Section 3.54A and Section 5.1 of the Zoning Or-
dinance as they pertain to structures in a required side yard to
permit the construction of a room addition which would infringe
nine (9') feet into the required twenty-five (25') foot building
setback area for property located at 1203 Timber Drive, Elk Grove
Village and legally described as follows:
Lot 179 in Parkview Heights Subdivision, being a Sub-
division in the Northeast Quartet of Section 36, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded April
12, 1978, as Document Number 24399728, and Certificate
of Correction recorded January 2, 1979, as Document
Number 24784941, and recorded May 7, 1979 as Document
Number 24949007, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 4 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2
