AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4A, POSITION
CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLANS AND CHAPTER 5,
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 4A.203, The Classification Plan;
Section 5.003, Office of Police Chief and Division Commander; and
Section 5.004, Appointments and Promotions, be and the same is
hereby amended by inserting the words, "DEPUTY CHIEF", where
Division Commander is indicated.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from.and after its passage and approval according to law.
