HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2064 - 9/12/1989 - SPECIAL USE/KENT & OAKTONORDINANCE NO. 2064 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ELECTRIC TRANSFORMER SUB -STATION ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT KENT AND OAKTON STREETS, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (COMMONWEALTH EDISON) WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a Public Meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of the granting of a Special Use Permit to permit the construction of an Electric Transformer Sub -station on property located at Kent and Oakton Streets in Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the findings and recommendations of said Plan Commission find and believe that it is in the best interest of the Village to grant the Special Use Permit requested. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit pursuant to Section 3.32 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of an Electric Transmission Sub -Station to Common- wealth Edison on property located at the corner of Kent and Oakton Streets, Elk Grove Village and legally described on Exhibit 1 attached hereto. Section 2: That the Sub -station shall be developed and located as set forth on the site plan submitted August 16, 1989 and in addition any occupancy permit for use of the property shall be withheld until such time as a landscape and screening plan is submitted to and approved by the Village. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 APPROVED: Charles J.
