HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2053 - 6/27/1989 - ZONING VARIATION/1860 MAINE DRORDINANCE NO. 2053 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DECK IN THE REAR YARD OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1860 MAINE DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (VEGA) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.54A as it pertains to attached accessory structures in a required rear yard to permit the construction of a deck which would encroach eight (8') feet into the required twenty (20') foot rear yard on property located at 1860 Maine Drive and legally described herein- after; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a deck which would encroach approximately eight (8') feet into the required twenty (20') foot rear yard on property located at 1860 Maine Drive and legally described as follows: Lot 87 Plat of Resubdivision No. 5, for a por- tion of Winston Grove Section 23 being subdivi- sions of part of Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois 0 Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
