AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4-A, POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND
SALARY PLANS, ARTICLE 4A.203, THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (Firefighters)
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a Home Rule Municipality
as authorized and set forth in the Constitution of the State of Illinois
and as such, authorized to enact certain legislation pertaining to its
local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
in exercise of its Home Rule authority as follows:
Section 1: That the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Chapter 4A entitled "Position Classification and Salary Plans,"
Article 4A.203, the Classification Plan, be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
AUTHORIZED POSITIONS
Fire Department May 1, 1988 Delete Add March 6, 1989
Firefighters 40 1 24 63
Firefighter/Paramedic 24 24 0 0
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
as of March 6, 1989, and upon passage and approval according to law.
