HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2016 - 2/14/1989 - ZONING VARIATION/244 PLACID CTORDINANCE NO. 2016 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT AN ADDITION ONTO AN EXISTING GARAGE AT PROPERTY LOCATED AT 244 PLACID COURT, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (TISCHART) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held ac- cording to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance to permit an additional onto an existing garage on property located at 244 Placid Court, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to required side - yards for principal structures to permit the construction of an additional onto the existing garage that would infringe thirty-four and one-half (34'") inches into the required five (5') foot sideyard on property located at 244 Placid Court and legally described as follows: Lot 2890 in Elk Grove Village Section 9, being a Subdivision in Section 33, Town- ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
