HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2015 - 2/14/1989 - ZONING VARIATION/9 PARK & SHOPORDINANCE NO. 2015 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.41A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE RECONSTRUCTION OF A RESTAURANT AT 9 PARK & SHOP, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (7 -STARS RESTAURANT/WILLIS E. NIEMAN) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held ac- cording to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.41A of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the recon- struction of a non -conforming structure; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to grant the requested variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.41A of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the reconstruction of a non -conforming restaurant including a three hundred eighty- five (385) square foot first floor addition necessitated by elevator and washroom requirements for property located at 9 Park & Shop, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 2 in Schnell's Division, being a Subdivi- sion in Section 21, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, to- gether with Lot 1 in Elk Grove Village Section 1 North, being a Subdivision in the Southeast quarter of Section 21, aforesaid, both taken as a tract (excepting from said tract that part thereof lying Westerly of a line drawn parallel with and 199.02 feet Easterly, as measured at right angles, of the Westerly line and said Westerly line extended Southerly of said Lot 2 in Schnell's Division and lying Northerly of a line drawn parallel with and 149.04 feet Southerly, and measured at right angles, of the most Northerly line of said Lot 1 in Elk Grove Village Section 1 North Subdivision, aforesaid, extended Westerly and excepting also that part of Lot 1 lying Southerly of a line drawn from a point in the most Easterly line of said Lot 1, 241.29 feet Northerly, as measured along said Easterly line of the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 1, to a point in the most Westerly line of said Lot 1, 191.54 feet Northerly of the South- westerly corner of said Lot 1) all in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 APPROVED: Charles J.
