HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2991 - 4/27/2004 - ZONING VARIATION/15555 & 1625 LOUISORDINANCE NO. 2991 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO SIDE YARD SETBACK REQUIREMENTS IN AN I-2 ZONED DISTRICT TO PERMIT A 240 SQUARE FOOT CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR BUILDINGS LOCATED AT 1555 AND 1625 LOUIS AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (AIR PRODUCTS EQUIPMENT COMPANY) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Sections 3-7:D.1 and 7-1 to permit the construction of a 240 square foot structure which would join two (2) existing buildings at 1555 and 1625 Louis Avenue, Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-7:D.1 and Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to the location of principal structures in an 1-2 Zoned District to permit the construction of an approximately 240 square foot structure which will join two (2) existing buildings located at 1555 and 1625 Louis Avenue, Elk Grove Village. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE. AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT. 0 PASSED this 27"' day of April 2004.
