AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A COMMUNITY EVENTS SIGN IN THE GROVE MALL SHOPPING CENTER
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 12.003
B. (Permitted Signs in the B-1, B-2 and B-3 Business Districts), as
said Section pertains to multiple free standing signs in a B-1 Shop-
ping Center, the requirement that free standing signs advertise
shopping centers and/or businesses within the shopping center, and
the forty-five (45) square foot of area per sign face requirement
to permit a 97.5 square foot per sign face multiple -lined matrix,
double faced, computer programmable electric display sign in the
Grove Mall Shopping Center, Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
