Upon receipt of your letter I had our Police Department inspect
the Biesner Road/Winston Drive area to determine if additional signage
is appropriate.
It is their recommendation that the signs you requested be erected.
Accordingly, this matter will be brought before the Village Board
for consideration and necessary amendments to the -Municipal Code
relating to parking. If approved, the signs will be installed by
our Public Works Department when they can fit this work into their
schedule.
Thank you for writing.

Dear Mr. Willis,
As President of both the Elk Grove Estates Homeowners
Association and the Elk Grove Village Custom Lots
Association, I write for our many residents in hope of
alleviating a potentially serious traffic/road design
problem.
First, at the intersection of Biesner Road and Winston,
a sharp 90 degree turn, parking is currently permitted on
the South side of Winston. An oversight, I, am sure.
Many residents tell me that there had been "No Parking"
signs previously. When automobiles are parked on the
turn or the South side of Winston, any auto turning to
to go West on Winston does not have visibility and those
turning to go North on Biesner can't see on -coming traffic.
This is a dangerous situation.
We request a "No Parking to Corner" sign to be placed
at the Western most exit of Pahl Street so that paikked
vehicles would not inhibit that narrow turn.
Secondly, the East side of Biesner had been posted with
"No Parking" signs from Gloucester Drive to Winston Drive.
They have been removed and not replaced.
Thank you for your consideration.
