AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (BIESTERFIELD ROAD)
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village pursuant to a
written agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation
is the owner of a portion of Biesterfield Road legally described
hereinafter, and in said capacity has requested annexation to
the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of
Elk Grove Village and has no electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, all applicable provisions of the Illinois Revised
Statutes concerning annexation and notices relating thereto have
been complied with and adhered to; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village do further find that it is in the best inte-
rest of the Village that said land and territory be annexed to
the Village of Elk Grove Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the land and territory legally described
in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and incorporated herein, which
territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village and
is not within the limits of any municipality, be and the same
is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
record a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an ac-
curate Plat of Annexation of said territory with the Recorder
of Deeds of Cook County and is further directed to amend the
Zoning Map of the Village in accordance with the provisions hereof
and to file such Notice of Annexation as is required by law.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is further directed to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication ac-
cording to law.

Section 31, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Prin-
cipal Meridian, lying East of Rohlwing Road, and lying West of
the East line of Lot 8 extended North in Itasca Meadows Farms,
a subdivision of part of Section 31 aforesaid, in Cook County,
Illinois
