AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IX, FIRE LANES, SECTION
23,903, LANE DESIGNATIONS, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE.
REGENCY SQUARE APARTMENTS
WHEREAS, Merlin Construction Company has requested of the Village
of Elk Grove Village in writing, that certain areas within their respective
development be designated as fire lanes, a copy of said request being
attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A" of this Ordinance. ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trusteds
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois.
Section 1: That Section 23.903, Lane Designations, Paragraph "L"
of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
L. Regency Square Apartments:
All areas designated as Fire Lanes on a map
entitled, "Regency Square Apartments", which
map is hereby incorporated by reference as
a part of Ordinance No. 2084 .
Section 2: That owner or owners of the property where the above
signs are to be located are hereby directed to install and maintain said
signs subject to the approval of the Chief of the Fire Department of the
Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 3: Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Twenty -Five ($25.00) Dollars and no more than Five -Hundred ($500.00)
Dollars for each offense.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in Pamphlet Form.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from.and after its passage and approval, according to law.
VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0
PASSED this 13th day of February , 1990.
