HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2072 - 11/14/1989 - ZONING VARIATION/768 CUTTER LNNO. 2072 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3.54A AND 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FIREPLACE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 768 CUTTER LANE (SCHMIDT) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Sections 3.54A and 5.1 as same pertain to structures in the required side yard area to permit the con- struction of a fireplace on property located at 768 Cutter Lane and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3.54A and 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as same pertain to structures in the required side yard area to permit the construction of a fireplace which will infringe one (1) foot five (5) inches into the required eight (8) foot side yard area on property located at 768 Cutter Lane and legally described as follows: Lot 197 in Stape's Subdivision, being a Subdi- vision of part of the Northeast Quarter of Sec- tion 35, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 APPROVED: Charles J.
