AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SALARIES FOR THE SCHOOL
CROSSING GUARDS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, State of Illinois:
Section 1: That the salaries for School Crossing Guards of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, during the ten months of school,
shall be and are hereby established as follows:
Payment for Crossing Guard Payment for Crossing Guard
Reporting Two (2) Times Reporting Three (3) Times
Per School Day Per School Day
Probation (6) months $2,440.00 $3,690.00
Permanent $2,920.00 $4,410.00
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect as of September 1, 1989, and upon its passage and approval
according to law.

NAY: 0
ABSENT: 1

SUBJECT: Crossing Guard Time Sheets
I have requested of the Board they amend Ordinance No. 1882, Crossing
Guard Salaries, to indicate salaries are paid over a 42 week period;
and, in conjunction with that request, I ask that Crossing Guard
preprinted time sheets be changed to reflect the new weekly salary,
as follows:
Crossing Guard Reporting Two (2) Times per School Day
Probation (6) month $ 58.10
Permanent $ 69.52
Crossing Guard Reporting Three (3) Times per School Day
Probation (6) month $ 87.86
Permanent $105.00
