AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.311, NO LEFT TURNS, OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY PROHI-
BITING LEFT TURNS FROM PLUM GROVE ROAD ONTO ORIOLE DRIVE
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:30 A.M. AND 9:00 A.M., MONDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1. That Section 14.311, No Left Turn, of Chapter 14, of
the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
(g) No operator of any motor vehicle traveling
southbound on Plum Grove Road shall make a
left turn from Plum Grove Road onto Oriole
Drive between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and
9:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars
for each offense.
Section 3. That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
