AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING AN ALTERNATE DIRECTOR TO THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOLID WASTE AGENCY OF
NORTHERN COOK COUNTY
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois as
follows:
WHEREAS, The Village President and Board of Trustees adopted Ordinance
No. 1957 on April 12, 1988 to authorize the formation of the Solid Waste
Agency of Northern Cook County; and
WHEREAS, the foregoing Ordinance No. 1957 also authorized the
Village of Elk Grove Village to join the said Solid Waste Agency; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees appointed a
Director and Alternate Director to serve on the Board of Directors of
the Solid Waste Agency by Ordinance No. 1957; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees believes it
to be in the best interest of the Village of Elk Grove Village to appoint
a second Alternate Director to the Board of Directors of the Solid Waste
Agency to assure continuous representation of said Village on said
Board of Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Village President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage that:
Section 1. Charles A. Willis, Village Manager, Village of Elk Grove
Village be and is hereby appointed as a second Alternate Director to
serve on the Board of Directors of the Solid Waste Agency of Northern
Cook County for a term expiring April 30, 1991, or until his successor
is appointed.
Section 2. This Ordinance be effective upon passage, approval
and publication in pamphlet form in a manner provided by law.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is hereby directed and authorized
to send two certified copies of this Ordinance to the Executive Director
of the Northwest Municipal Conference and two certified copies of this
Ordinance to the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County upon the
execution of this Ordinance .
