HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1966 - 5/10/1988 - SPECIAL USE/AMERICAN NAT'L BK OF ARL HTSNO. 1966 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE TO THE AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK OF ARLINGTON HEIGHTS AS TRUSTEE UNDER TRUST NO. A-1372 AND JOHN GULLO AND GEORGE GULLO, BENEFICIARIES THEREOF, TO PERMIT THE DEVELOPMENT OF A WAREHOUSING, PACKAGING AND LIGHT ASSEMBLY USE IN AN O & T OFFICE/TRANSITIONAL ZONED DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, conducted a public hearing for the purpose of granting a Special Use as authorized by Section 5.72 E. of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village in the 0 & T Office/Transitional District; and WHEREAS, said Special Use would permit warehousing, packaging and light assembly as defined in said Section 5.72 E. on property located North of Oakton Street and West of the Carroll Square multi -family residential development and legally described herein- after; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said Special Use be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to the American National Bank of Arlington Heights as Trustee under Trust Agreement dated September 1, 1981 and known as Trust No. A-1372 and John Gullo and George Gullo, beneficiaries thereof, to permit a warehousing, packaging and light assembly use on property located on the North side of Oakton Street West of the Carroll Square residential development and legally described as follows: Lots 1 and 2 in Gullo International Office and industrial Center Subdivision being a subdivi- sion in the West half of the Southwest quarter of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: The Special Use shall be subject to the conditions that no occupancy permit shall be granted for properties fronting or immediately adjacent to Oakton Street until proposed signs and/or sign regulations for building on said properties are approved by the Village Board. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 APPROVED: Charles J.
