HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1971 - 5/24/1988 - ZONING VARIATION/887 CASS LNNO. 1971 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3.54 AND 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FIREPLACE 1.75 FEET INTO THE REQUIRED SIDE YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 887 CASS LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (VOSS) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grome Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Sections 3.54 and 5.1 as it pertains to required side yard area of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village to permit the construction of a fireplace 1.75 feet into the required eight (8') foot side yard at property located at 887 Cass Lane and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3.54 and 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as same pertain to required side yard area to permit the construction of a fireplace that would infringe 1.75 feet into the required eight (81) foot side yard at property located at 887 Cass Lane and legally described as follows: Lot 77 in Parkview Heights Subdivision, being a subdivision in the Northeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to ]<aw.
