HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1986 - 9/13/1988 - ANNEX & REZONE/831 & 837 OAKTONNO. 1986 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (CUPP) WHEREAS, a written Petition has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Dolores Cupp, the owner of the hereinafter described land and territory, said Petition for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and has no electors residing thereon; and WHEREAS, all applicable provisions of the Illinois Revised Statutes concerning annexation and notices relating thereto have been complied with; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village do further find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said land and territory be annexed to the Village and be granted I-1 Zoning, which zoning is set forth in the official map of Elk Grove Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the land and territory legally described in Exhibit 1 attached hereto and incorporated herein, which territory is conti ous to the Village of Elk Dve Village and is not within the limits of any municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village. Section 2: That said property shall upon annexation be zoned I-1 Light Industrial, which zoning is designated for said property on the official map of the Village of Elk Grove Village. Section 3: That the owner shall, upon annexation, make payment to the Village of $1,043.50 to the Municipal Purpose Fund and $620.17 water line recapture fee, both payments as required by Village Ordinance. Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an accu- rate Plat of Annexation of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County and is further directed to amend the official map of the Village in accordance with the provisions hereof and to file such Notice of Annexation as is required by law. Section 5: That the Village Clerk is further directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form. Section 6: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 ATTEST: Patricia S.
