HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1994 - 10/25/1988 - ZONING VARIATION/1730 BALTIMORE DRNO. 1994 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DECK NINE (9') FEET INTO THE REQUIRED TWENTY (20') FOOT REAR YARD FOR PROPERTY AT 1730 BALTIMORE DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (DAMORE) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held accor- ding to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village to permit the construction of a deck which would encroach nine (9') feet into the required twenty (20') foot rear yard on property located at 1730 Baltimore Drive, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village to permit the con- struction of a deck nine (9') feet into the required twenty (20') foot rear yard on property located at 1730 Baltimore Drive and legally described as follows: Lot 103 "Plat of Resubdivision No. 5 for a portion of Winston Grove Section 23B" being subdivisions of part of Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 5 ATTEST: Patricia S.
