HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2003 - 12/13/1988 - ZONING VARIATION/501 BRYNHAVENORDINANCE NO. 2003 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ELEVATED DECK SEVEN AND ONE-HALF (711') FEET INTO THE TWENTY (201) FOOT REQUIRED REAR YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 501 BRYNHAVEN STREET, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (SMITH) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to structures in the required rear yard for property located at 501 Brynhaven Street, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having reviewed the findings and recommendations of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village as it pertains to structures in the required rear yard to permit the construction of an elevated deck seven and one-half (7'') feet into said required rear yard for property located at 501 Brynhaven Street, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 283 in Elk Grove Village Section 1 North, being a Subdivision in the Southeast 4 of Section 21, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
