AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, SECTION 14.203 THREE-WAY AND
FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS; SECTION 14.204 ONE-WAY AND TWO-WAY
STOP.INTERSECTIONS; SECTION 14.205 YIELD RIGHT-OF-WAY INTER-
SECTIONS; AND SECTION 14.311 NO LEFT TURNS OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as
follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.203, Three-way and Four-way Stop
Intersections, of the Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended
by deleting from Paragraph C the following:
36. Gibson Drive and Vermont Drive
38. Gibson Drive and California Street
39. Gibson Drive.and Revere Lane
Section 2: That Section 14.204, One-way and Two-way Stop
Intersections, of the Municipal Code be and the same is,hereby amended by
deleting from Column "A" and "B" the following:

STOP STREETS LOCATION
New York Lane at Gibson Drive
Liberty Ct. (South)
and further amending Section 14.204, One-way and Two-way Stop
Intersections, by adding thereto the followi-ng:

STOP STREETS LOCATION
California Street at Gibson Drive
SECTION 3: That Section 14.205, Yield Right -of -Way Intersections,
of the Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended by deleting the
following:
COLUMN "A" COLUMN "B"
Southbound Revere Lane at Gibson Drive
and further amending Section 14.205, Yield Right -of -Way Intersections, by
adding thereto the following:

Vermont Drive
Jersey Lane
Potomac Lane
Rutgers Lane

Section 4: That Section 14.311, No Left Turns, of the Municipal
Code be and the same is hereby amended by deleting the following:
(e) No operator of any motor vehicle traveling northbound
on Biesterfield Road shall make a left turn from
Biesterfield Road onto Gibson Drive between the hours
of 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Section 5: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars
for each offense.
Section 6: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 7: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
