AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE NECESSITY AND CONVENIENCE
OF THE USE AND OCCUPANCY OF PART OF
LOT 32 IN BLOCK 6 IN WINSTON GROVE SECTION 22 NORTH
P R E A M B L E
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a municipal
corporation and body politic of Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village and the Elk Grove
Park District are municipalities as defined in "An Act In Relation
To The Transfer Of Interest In Real Estate By Units Of Local
Government Or School Districts, Approved July 2, 1925" (Chapter
30, Section 156 of Illinois Revised Statutes, 1985); and
WHEREAS, the territory of said municipalities is wholly
within, coextensive with or partly within and partly without
the corporate limits of the other; and
WHEREAS, transfer of interests in real estate are authorized
by said Act between such municipalities upon such terms as may
be agreed upon; and
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Park District is the present owner
of a parcel of land for which it has no further use, described
as follows:
That part of Lot 32 in Block 6 in Winston
Grove Section 22 North, being a subdivision
in parts of Sections 25 and 36, Township
41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Prin-
cipal Meridian, lying North of the following
described lines: beginning at the P.C.
in the North line of Lot 32 aforesaid 232.07
feet South 870 29' 49" West from the Northeast
corner thereof; Thence South 870 29' 49"
West along the Westerly extension of the
last described line 140.0 feet to a point
of curve; Thence Westerly along an arc
of a circle convex Northerly and having
a radius of 713.94 feet for a distance of
125.51 feet (the chord of said arc having
a bearing of South 820 27' 39" West); Thence
South 410 51' 04" West 41.17 feet to the
Westerly line of said lot, all in Cook County,
Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and convenient that the Village
of Elk Grove Village use and occupy the aforesaid real estate
for municipal street purposes in the interest of the health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of the Village and people
travelling through the area of the real estate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the terms and the provisions of the Preamble
hereof are incorporated into this Ordinance by this reference.
Section 2: That it is necessary and convenient for the
Village of Elk Grove Village to use and occupy the aforesaid
real estate for municipal street purposes.
Section 3: That the Village of Elk Grove Village and the
Village President and Board of Trustees thereof hereby indicate
the intent of the Village of Elk Grove Village to accept a convey-
ance of said property from the Elk Grove Park District subject
to restrictions and conditions of record but free and clear
of all real estate taxes and special assessments.

Section 4: That the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village be and are hereby authorized
and directed to take such steps and to execute such documents
as shall be necessary or advisable to accomplish the intent
of this Ordinance.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
