AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE VILLAGE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PERMANENT CANOPY
ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 160 KING STREET, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
(SERVICE TOOL DIE AND MFG. CO.)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of
Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held accor-
ding to law considered the question of granting a variation
of Section 3.54 and Section 5.81G of the Zoning Ordinance as
they pertain to structures in required front yard and bulk regu-
lations respectively in order to permit the construction of
a permanent canopy which will infringe ten (10') feet into their
required twenty-five (25') foot building setback line on property
located at 160 King Street, Elk Grove Village and legally described
hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe
that sufficient hardship exists so as warrant the granting of
said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section
3.54A and Section 5.81G of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Elk Grove Village as they pertain to structures in the required

front yard and bulk regulations respectively, to Service Tool
Die and Mfg., Co., Rollie M. Goodrich, Thomas R. Goodrich and
Loren D. Scheel to permit the construction of a permanent canopy
which will infringe ten (10') feet into the required twenty-five
(25') foot building setback line on property located at 160
King Street and legally described as follows:
Lot 3 and the South 50.0 feet of Lot 4 in
Higgins Road Commercial Subdivision Unit
No. 5, being a resubdivision in the West
Half of Section 22, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meri-
dian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
