AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 4A,203, THE CLASSIFICATION
PLAN, OF CHAPTER 4A, POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN,
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a Home Rule
Municipality as authorized and set forth in the Constitution of the
State of Illinois and as such, authorized to enact certain legislation
pertaining to its local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, in exercise of its Home Rule authority as follows:
Section 1: That the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Article 4A.203, The Classification Plan, of Chapter 4A,
Position Classification and Salary Plan, be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following:
AUTHORIZED POSITIONS
Police Department May 1, 1987 Delete Add March 22, 1988
Police Sergeant 11 1* 12 (*)
* Denotes temporary supervisor authorization for a time period as
determined by the Village Manager based upon the needs of the
Department and as recommended by the Department Head.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
