AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.43,
REGULATIONS OF PRINCIPAL BUILDINGS, TO PERMIT THE
CONSTRUCTION OF FOUR (4) RENTAL STORAGE UNITS AND
MANAGER'S QUARTERS ON ONE (1) LOT ON PROPERTY LOCATED
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF TOUHY AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY
276 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF ELMHURST ROAD
IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE (PUBLIC STORAGE INC.)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of
Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according
to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section
3.43 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of four
(4) rental storage units and manager's quarters on one lot on
property located within the Village and legally described herein-
after; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the findings and
recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe
that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting
of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section
3.43, Regulations of Principal Buildings, of the Zoning Ordinance
to the Public Storage, Inc. to permit the construction of four
(4) rental storage units and manager's quarters on property
located on the South side of Touhy Avenue in Elk Grove Village
and legally described as follows:
Lot 3 in Touhy-Higgins Subdivision,being
a subdivision in the West Half of the North-
west Quarter of Section 36, Township 41,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Cook County, Illinois
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
