AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54A
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A DECK IN THE REAR YARD OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1031 GLORIA DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (ZADES)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting
duly called and held according to law considered the question
of granting a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance
as it relates to structures in the required rear yard to permit
the construction of a deck which would infringe eight (8) foot
into the required twenty (20) foot rear yard on property located
at 1031 Gloria Drive, Elk Grove Village and legally described
hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient
hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section
3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village as it relates to
structures in the required rear yard to permit the construction
of a deck which would infringe eight (8) foot into the required
twenty (20) foot rear yard on property located at 1031 Gloria
Drive, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows:
Lot 21 in Block 3 in Shenandoah Subdivision,
being a Subdivision in the South East
of the South West ; of Section 36, Township
41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
