AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
VILLAGE FROM R-3, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE TO
A-2, MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENCE (BRENTWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village acting as a Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing
duly called and held according to law to consider the question
of rezoning certain property located at 231 Shadywood Lane,
Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter from R-3,
Single Family Residential to A-2, Multi -Family Residential;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the findings of said
Plan Commission find and believe it to be in the best interest
of the Village that said property be rezoned as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the property legally described on Exhibit
1 attached hereto and incorporated herein, consisting of approxi-
mately 2.68 acres and located at 231 Shadywood Lane, Elk Grove
Village be and the same is hereby rezoned from R-3, Single Family
Residential to A-2, Multi -Family Residential.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grove Village is hereby directed to amend the Zoning Map of
the Village of Elk Grove Village in accordance with the provisions
of this Ordinance.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
