AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN
THE VILLAGE FROM I-2, INDUSTRIAL, TO B-3, AUTOMOTIVE
ORIENTED BUSINESS (WEBS/SCHMITT VENTURES 101, LTD.)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, sitting as a Zoning Commission, conducted a public
hearing on the petition of Gregory C. Schmitt and Webb/Schmitt
Ventures 101, Ltd. for the purpose of rezoning property located
at 2451 Landmeier Road from I-2, Industrial to B-3, Automotive
Oriented Business; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the findings and
recommendations of said Plan Commission find and believe it
to be in the best interest of the Village that said property
be rezoned as recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the following parcel of property be and
the same is hereby rezoned from I-2, Industrial to B-3, Automotive
Oriented Business:
Lot 7 in O'Hare International Center for
Business, being a resubdivision of Higgins -
Elmhurst Subdivision No. 1 and Higgins -
Elmhurst Subdivision No. 2 in the Southeast
Quarter of Section 26, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Cook County, Illinois, according to the
the Plat thereof, recorded September 16,
1986 as Document 86418230, and as corrected
by a Certificate of Correction dated June
1, 1987.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grove Village is hereby directed to amend the zoning map of
the Village of Elk Grove Village in accordance with the provisions
of this Ordinance.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
