AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.98 AND 3.99
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE PERMITTING A REDUCTION
IN THE REQUIRED OFF-STREET LOADING SPACES (PUBLIC STORAGE INC.)
WHEREAS the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk
Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according
to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section
3.98 and Section 3.99 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain
to required off-street loading spaces to Public Storage Inc.
to permit a variation of five (5) loading spaces so that none
would be required for property located at 2901 Touhy Avenue,
Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the findings and
recommendations of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe
that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting
of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage,,Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section
3.98 and Section 3.99 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
as it pertains to required off-street loading spaces to reduce
the number of said spaces from five (5) to zero (0) for property
located at 2901 Touhy Avenue and legally described as follows:
Lot 3 in Plat of Touhy-Higgins Subdivision
being a Subdivision in the West 11 of the
Northwest a of Section 36, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
