AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4-A, POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY
PLANS, ARTICLE 4A.203 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove village is a Home Rule
Municipality as authorized and set forth in the Constitution of the
State of Illinois and as such, authorized to enact certain legislation
pertaining to its local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and Du Page
Counties, Illinois, in exercise of its Home Rule authority as follows:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, Chapter 4-A entitled "Position Classification and
Salary Plans" Article 4A.203 be and is hereby amended to include the
following:
Fire Department
Fire Lieutenants
Firefighters
AUTHORIZED POSITIONS
May 1, 1987 Delete

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
