HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1937 - 1/26/1988 - ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDEDORDINANCE NO. 1937 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.74, OFFICE PARR CONDITIONAL USE DISTRICT, OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of amending the Zoning Ordinance with respect to parking in the Office Park Conditional Use District; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that the Zoning Ordinance be amended as recommended by the Plan Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That Section 5.74-4B be amended by deleting the present Section in its entirety and substituting therefore the following: 5.74-4B Parking requirements for a business or office use, including accessory uses, may be satisfied by either: (i) providing one (1) parking space per two hundred fifty (250) square feet of floor area; or (ii) providing one (1) parking space per three hundred (300) square feet of floor area, if, at the time of issuance of a building permit for the subject building, the owner can demonstrate that additional parking spaces up to the requirement of subsection (i) above shall be made available on the subject property in the future when noti- fied by the Building Commissioner that existing parking is inadequate. 0 Section 2: That Section 5.74-4 be further amended by adding thereto a new subsection E which shall read as follows: E. In addition to the off-street parking stall angles and dimensions permitted under Section 3.94I, incorporating by reference Exhibit F, parking spaces within this District may be constructed in accordance with Exhibit G, entitled "Off -Street Parking Chart Office Park Conditional Use District", which chart is hereby incorporated by reference. Section 3: That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village is further amended by adding thereto Exhibit G, a copy of which is attached hereto. Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 4 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2 APPROVED: Charles J.
