AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1639 AND ORDINANCE NO. 1784
BY GRANTING A ONE (1) YEAR EXTENSION OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS
OF THE SPECIAL USE PERMIT PREVIOUSLY GRANTED TO SIXPENCE INN
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a public meeting duly called considered the question
of granting a one (1) year extension of a Special Use Permit
previously granted to Sixpence Inn, said extension relating
to the construction of the restaurant portion of the Special
Use Permit; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
and finding of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be
in the best interest of the Village that the Special Use Permit
be amended as recommended by the Plan Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Special Use Permit granted pursuant
to Ordinance No. 1639 and thereafter amended pursuant to Ordinance
No. 1784 be and the same is further amended by granting a one
(1) year extension of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1639 pertaining
to the restaurant portion of the Special Use Permit, thereby
extending said Special Use Permit to April 24, 1989.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
