HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1828 - 8/12/1986 - ZONING VARIATION/709,721,734 CUTTERNO. 1828 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE FRONT YARD REGULATIONS FOR CORNER AND DOUBLE FRONTAGE LOTS TO PERMIT BUILDING SETBACK LINES OF 22 FEET ON PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 709 CUTTER LANE, 721 CUTTER LANE, 734 CUTTER LANE, AND 1893 HAWK LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (WINDEMERE HOLDINGS, LTD.) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.52 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village as it pertains to front yard regulations for corner and double frontage lots to permit a 22 -foot building setback line on properties located at 709 Cutter Lane, 721 Cutter Lane, 734 Cutter Lane, and 1893 Hawk Lane, which properties are legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the findings of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.52 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a 22 -foot building setback line on properties located at 709, 721, 734 Cutter Lane, and 1893 Hawk Lane, which properties are legally described as follows: Lot 171, in Stape's Subdivision, being a Subdivision of part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Lot 172, in Stape's Subdivision, being a Subdivision of part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Lot 242, in Stape's Subdivision, being a Subdivision of part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Lot 312, in Stape's Subdivision, being a Subdivision of part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTES: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 APPROVED: Charles J.
