AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.311, NO LEFT TURNS, OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY PROHI-
BITING LEFT TURNS FROM PLUM GROVE ROAD ONTO JULIE DRIVE AND
ONTO UNIVERSITY LANE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:30 A.M. AND
9:00 A.M., MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, AND PROHIBITING LEFT TURNS
FROM BIESTERFIELD ROAD ONTO GIBSON DRIVE BETWEEN THE HOURS
OF 3:30 P.M. AND 7:00 P.M., MONDAY THRU FRIDAY
NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.311, No Left Turn, of Chapter 14, of
the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and the
same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
(d) No operator of any motor vehicle traveling
southbound on Plum Grove Road shall make a
left turn from Plum Grove Road onto Julie
Drive and from Plum Grove Road onto University
Lane between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.,
Monday thru Friday.
(e) No operator of any motor vehicle traveling
northbound on Biesterfield Road shall make
a left turn from Biesterfield Road onto
Gibson Drive between the hours of 3:30 p.m.
and 7:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)
Dollars for each offense.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
